Any scouting of the Minutemen by this board?

no advantage at all, Auburn will still destroy them pretty easy

There’s arguably no worse FBS team in the country. It doesn’t matter if AU had to play 10 v 11.

Seems like we have started slow sometimes against inferior competition.
Is Brother Hugh a fast starter?

Auburn vs U Mass is like a chainsaw vs a marshmallow

Imagine it'll help them out a wee bit, at least with flow of game. Snapping the ball to a rowdy crowd... not so much?

None. Auburn will dominate the game.

It wasn’t too long ago that UMass almost beat Mississippi State. 2 straight years

The confidence in our new coach is strong
Umass?
We should be able to beat them with Jones at QB

Traditionally UMass sucks.
Last year UMass averaged less than 12 ppg and allowed 33.6.
They have to travel to New Mexico St Week 0 and then of course have to travel to Auburn Week 1. That's a lot of travel in one week. They're currently 39.5 dogs. Should be a simple cover even if they didn't have to travel Week 0.

If they were decent, it would be an advantage. Especially since we have so many transfers and a new system. This would be a good way to handicap some week 1 games.

Will we be pretty vanilla on offense week one?
A lot of base plays?Run heavy?
On defense, will we bring the heat?

Looked up UMass's stats from last year and they're straight up abysmal.
Doesn't matter if they play a Week -1, we'll still have the upper hand

WERE FRICKED!
Umass was 1-11 last year and there are no moves towards improvement, as far as I see.

I know who that is.
But if I didn’t know, I’d still know.

It will be balanced run/pass. We will basically be in advanced install.

Our fanbase is very excited to watch a new brand of football.
The team is excited to get the bad taste of last year out of their mouth.
The stadium will be packed for opening day and the UMass team will not be able to stop anything we do.

The temperatures in Massachusetts in September are comfortable with low of 59°F and and high up to 75°F.
Hope they have plenty of ice for a 2:30 start. ESPN sets the time and here we are.
