I like this list with one exception. LSU Purple and yellow should be at 6 and everyone below move down a spot.

It looks good, but the yellow shade competes with the beautiful shade of purple that LSU has. The yellow needs to be muted against purple. I just think if LSU stayed with the Old Gold shade, wow, I would put that right behind UGA.

BTW....USC Trojans use the yellow shade of gold--but, it looks okay next to our Cardinal Red, but not if the red was more brighter, no. Yellow shade looks great against a darker shade of whatever other color is being used, but not a bright.

Bright Purple/Old Gold = yeah!
Bright Purple/Yellow Gold = ok, but still ehhh

Alabama? Half the teams in the country are red and white. Should be at the bottom.

#13 - Purple & Gold (LSU uses "yellow" gold shade -- wished they used an "Old Gold" shade, tho, next to purple -- I would have them near the top if they did)

Sorry for being original

But utilitarian. They go to the game Saturday, deer hunt Sunday and pick up trash on Monday.

LSU’s colors would be sharp if they dropped the lemon.

I would like to see a true gold with Purple for LSU, but the yellow gold has become so ingrained and associated with LSU that it would be hard to get used to any other way.

(Not sure I would like the true gold, but I would like to see it for reference)

I do agree with JetDawg, though, that the teams all have good colors. I'm just not used to seeing him start a thread and being nice.

I mean, wearing Brown and yellow would be original, too, but I wouldn't want them on my favorite teams uniforms.

I thought Joe Adams was killed on that play. Physical game and those were the worst Razorback unis of all time. Horrible.

Missouri's was better when they used the "Old Gold" shade. Why they went to the bumblebee yellow no one knows, but we have hopes of going back.

I like Ole Miss. Lots of options are sharp looking.

Gators and Auburn are a different combo but it works.

All the various reds, crimsons and maroons are nothing special. Do like Bama’s helmet though, very classic.

Ones with black are just so overdone now a days, it just seems, oh another one. Prefer Georgias classic combo of red and grey.

Great pic of Chad vs. Joe. Not being sarcastic. That was a freaking game and I can’t believe that either of them got up after their helmets hit each other. Adams catching the TD right after was awesome.

Ohhh, I am a nice guy....I really am. I admit I'm a bit more sarcastic (but in a fun way) than I want to be, but you know what? I'm going to try and start being nice all the time (as much as I can ).

Red and black and also Bama’s crimson are good looking.

But the “best” is relative to how the uniforms look as well.

Why am I not surprised a Georgia fan picks red and black as the best.

I actually think it is a pretty unattractive color combination by itself... but it looks really good with the silver britches.
