He got reps last year with a limited playbook so I think he will be ready.

People like to make fun of Jimbo but he's the smartest man in the world.

He can put up losing season after losing season and play up the "aw schucks" response when asked about it. But he knows he only has to upset Bama or LSU (now OU and Texas), and he gets carried off the field, an extension signed, and aggies doing burnouts in front of the Dixie Chicken.

Everything he said is the complete truth.

You're a classic example of someone who tries to dish it out but can't take it.

They don’t want an actual discussion. They only want the circle jerk about anything A&M related.

I answered sidewalks question earlier about the defense honestly and got zero response. No interest. Which is funny considering all the reaearch on A&M that he does. Just don’t expect otherwise.

He’s just trying to be cool and edgy for LSU fans.

You answered my question, there was no need for another response.

The truth remains. A&M has never played for a big 3 men's national championship or even the chance to play for one.

So they won one but didn’t play for one. Got it. What a dumbass.

Why does Sidewalk keep saying our defense sucks? We did good for Durkin’s first year. The secondary was borderline above average, which is rare for us.

You claimed a championship, you didn't actually "win" one.

You didn't necessarily suck, you just weren't very good.

Something like #52 in total defense, defense efficiency wasn't great. Elite pass defense numbers but one of the worst run defenses in America.

That team has a better claim to a football championship than 2007 LSU.

We get y’all desperately want that to be true, as it’s the only thing that takes the sting off losing to a 5-7 team with a potential playoff spot still on the line, but it simply isn’t.

Now old A&M? Absolutely there’s lots of old Ags who judged a decent season by if we beat the longhorns or not, but those were graduates from the 50s through the 80s mostly, and definitely not representative of the majority of the fanbase now.

But don’t let me get in the way of your fantasy/hyperbole, go ahead and believe what you want.

I'd be a happier fan if we stopped offering guaranteed contracts and even larger guaranteed contract extensions for our coaches

At least one of us repeatedly warned my Aggy neighbors about this when Manziel was there. Blow out cash on a stadium, extend a coach with a Heisman QB, and then do it *again* with guaranteed money. Auburn knows how that kind of things end. We warned you years ago.

Well no because 2007 LSU actually played and won the championship on the field while 1939 Texas A&M was simply named the champion.

The truth is what it is.

Aggie has never actually played for a big 3 men's national championship.

They have never even played for the chance to play for one.
