That sec podcast and 247 sports both have him ranked as the top qb in the sec pre season. Is this good or a sign he’ll snap his acl week 2

Based on the last 2 or 3 years of Arkansas sports, I think we all know the answer to this.

I love it. Bring on the hype. It's his time to show out.

It's deserved. We saw the difference in the games he was healthy versus the games he wasn't.

I feel like this is something we shouldn’t speak out loud about. Don’t let the sports gods know that we are aware that he is supposed to be good this year. Just put our heads down, move on and go to work.

We are Arkansas fans. We know the drill.

KJ will look like a Heisman candidate the first three games, get injured late in a meaningless play in the third game, and we will be forced to start someone who is barely above room temperature for the march of death with 4 games on the road against the meat of our schedule.

We gotta be smart about this. Let’s pump up the 3rd string QB like he’s some blue chip recruit so the sports Gods take him out instead

Doesn't mean anything if he can't stay healthy. All those hits pile up.

I guess we should at least have a competent backup this year.

I feel like with Enos, KJ will be better suited for the game. From schemes, to play calling.

But, we do have a really good backup as well imho

My hope is he will take fewer hits and Enos will be more cautious putting him in "run this guy over for a first down" situations.

This. Enos will not use QB1 as a battering ram.

I agree, he didn’t do that with Brandon Allen and Austin Allen. They never got touched.

It's not like we have a true freshman being hyped up. KJ has been an upper tier QB in the SEC the last 2 seasons.

His only problem is staying healthy - knock on wood

kj is still a running qb and enos will still run him some. Y’all hate on briles for running kj makes me think you guys never watched Florida with Tebow or auburn with cam Newton

I think they’re just trying to say that Enos will probably try to have our RBs better suited to convert certain short-yardage plays(especially on our side of the field, etc.). I’m sure that KJ will be used for running - ideally it will be when he can run wild, designed good plays, and scoring touchdowns.

Enos ran Brandon inside the redzone every now and then. It's how we won the Ole Miss 4th and 25 game lol

Brandon against Ole Miss and Austin against TCU. Both variations of the same play used to win in OT.

Yeah the people saying we aren’t going to run kj short yardage or don’t want us too are going to be upset come fall.
