The right choice at the time? Probably, overall, unlikely. He entered Athens as a sure fire 3rd round guy and barring a big step this year is unlikely to be in the draft. He needed a technical Oline coach, his footwork and hands are just as sloppy has they were in his highschool film. He’s not aggressive, not technically sound, not decisive. I get that injuries have hampered him but at some point he needs to be more than big and strong. And he has a great foundation in what he’s supposed be doing what interviews and folks that are supposedly close to the family, but hes just not there yet. He would be well served in hitting the portal and spending time in a different system.

No it really was the right choice at the time. No one should have to play for Pruitt.

Let’s just say you have been a terrible judge of uga talent. Your bias of hate is just too strong for you to overcome.

Lol
He was rusty at the beginning of the season coming off his lisfranc surgery.
By the end of the season, he was one of the best guards in the league.
He will be an All conference player at a minimum in 2023 if healthy.
You are the reverse jinx, Smokey.
And I thank you.

Congrats on your moral victory

So how many false starts did your offense have and why?
Because the Vols were as overhyped as our tailgating apparently is.
If the noise didn't get to them, then they just sucked. They imploded on their own.

Sanford is middle of the road IMO of all of the SEC stadiums that I have visited as a Gator fan.
Honest question. When did you visit Sanford and who was the opponent?
ETA
Come on, UFMatt! I asked an honest question and instead of saying the answer you down vote and run?

Sanford is so mediocre it hurts. South Carolina is a more rowdy atmosphere in my experience.

Apparently it still is or he would have portaled out.

You're talking about Tate Ratledge? "Unlikely to be drafted..." Huh? Dude you think you're some kind of high football IQ guy but then you say really dumb stuff. I was just reading about 3 days ago an NFL draft analysis on him saying scouts were praising him for his physicality, ability to finish blocks, mauling bigger DLmen in the running game and his footwork was probably among the best OGs in the nation. He did no allow a single sack last year and only 3 QB hurries got by him.
He'll be 3rd maybe 2nd rounder. Don't quit your day job bro.

Maybe the crowd would get a little louder and wilder if some team could show up to actually give us some semblance competition these days. We thought we were going to get it from a UT team that was ranked #1 coming in to the game last season...and then we broke one off in them the size of John Holmes' phalic member and proved they were just pretenders. (yawn) Maybe this year someone will actually give us more than a glorified scrimmage.

Well done, Rick. Pavlov would be proud.

South Carolina can get a bit Rowdy too.
Have to throw a little love their way as well.
Many great stadiums in the SEC

I agree here. When they crank up Sandstorm and start waving those towels around it can be a bit intimidating. For me, anyway. I like their atmosphere. I think it serves to get their players amped up, too. When the team is good it helps them. When their team is weaker, nothing helps. That's true for everybody, I guess.

He is big and strong, his footwork isn’t great or consistent. He will generally win a pushing contest no doubt. If you watch his film it’s a lot of pushing guys past the QB. It works against average college guys.
