Directors cup puts way too much weight on sports nobody cares about

1. Football
2. Men and women’s basketball
3. Baseball

Are the big 4.

Softball, tennis, track and field, golf are mid tier

The rest nobody gives 2 fricks

But, the Suckeyes finished #1 for stankiness, finishing #1 now for 100 years in a row.

Hats off to future SEC school Texas for finishing #2 while participating in half as many sports as #1 Stanford.

We were bad at basketball. I do not follow college baseball.

We made the college football playoffs so not sure why you included it.
So you don't follow one of the big 3 in college sports but you're bragging about a directors cup?

Congrats on being shitty in 2 of the big 3 and then not winning your conference or a playoff game in the other. Wow great year lol. Didn't Michigan beat the frick out of y'all too?

I'm glad you are good at something but let's be honest here. You can be good in other sports but if you are not successful in football then it doesn't mean much.

It's funny to watch people dig something out of the mud, season the frick out of it, and call it good eating.

This is like bragging about your family of 10 having a combined IQ of 500 while a family of 4 only has a combined IQ of 450.

Reading this dribble spurred by jealousy made my IQ drop.

How is being ranked very high in the Directors Cup a bad thing? We finished behind Texas and Stanford who also have great Athletic Departments.

And all 4 finished behind Ohio State who finished 3rd.
It was another successful year for Buckeye sports.

Stanford and Texas finished 1 and 2.

Any national championships?

Stanford who is stuck in a depleted Pac 10, won the Directors Cup but its football program may not be good enough for a B1G invite.

Ohio State finished 3rd in the Cup and has an iconic football program and makes more money than any other athletic Department.

The only reason Arkansas is not in Stanford's position is it had a solid football program at one time.

The fans of the 12 SEC teams that did not make the playoffs had to sit at home and watch Ohio State do what none of them could do and that was go toe to toe with the mighty Georgia.

We produce revenue in football, basketball and baseball and are “iconic “ as you say in track and field.

You are a 1 trick pony who no one outside of your circle cares about.

We do well for a school in a small state..

Vols finished 6th with 15 NCAA qualifying teams. They grade your top 19. We took 4 voluntary 0s and still finished 6th. Ohio has 37?

And in the bigger 5 sports (football, basketball, w basketball, baseball, softball)
Football gets points for making the playoffs.
Basketball no post season
W Basketball elite 8 points
Softball no post season no points
Baseball no post season no points.

2 out of 5 were in post season play. Yikes
