The large state-name schools just attract more redneck, bandwagon fans. I would bet that aside from Vandy, Auburn has the highest percentage of actual graduates of the school as a proportion of the total fan base than any other program in the league. It’s easy to choose to be a Bama fan which therefore attracts a lot of trashy people.

ie auburn sucks and no one chooses to be an auburn fan in a vacuum

I think Aggie and Mizzou likely have Auburn beat for less sidewalk fans.
