How did he stay eligible? You have to show progress
And it’s progress towards a degree with minimal hours. The minimum is 6 credits per term with 40% by the end of year 2. A basic BS degree in the UGA system is 120 hours so minimum of 48 at the end of year 2. 5 terms a year, summer I and II fall winter spring so at minimum he must have 168 credit hours at this point with atleast a 2.0 average. He would have been awarded a general studies BS or BA at 140 hours.
But he was a walk on until 2018. So 4 years on scholarship but the rules are different before that. To walkon at UGA you must be a full time student (minimum of 12 credit hours every term) so 36 plus 2 summer sessions is 42 X 2 years is 84 hours before the scholarship rules applied. So now it’s 84 plus 5 years at 6 per term is a minimum of 204 credits with no degree. 80 plus credits more than most degrees in the Georgia system requires.
Nothing to see here I guess.

Frankly the dude sounds dumb as bricks when he talks so, it's not that surprising.
During my working career I administered IQ tests on a regular basis.
It appears to me that Stetson has a significant spread between his verbal IQ and performance IQ.
His composite ACT score was 30 so he is actually quite intelligent but his expressive language usually won't give you that impression.

I have two undergrad degrees and two graduate degrees.
And the grad degrees qualify me to administer a variety of clinical assessment instruments.

There aren’t 5 terms, there are 3. UGA is on the semester system. This throws off all your math.
They won’t just award you a Gen studies degree, they will simply list classes you took that don’t apply to the degree you are seeking as unused electives. If he switched majors at end of junior year or something he’d likely have a lot of these. Especially if he switched colleges from something like A&S to Business or vice versa.

Once again. Georgia is recognized as a public Ivy. Check it out. Hard to get in and even harder to stay in. A top quality educational school.
Bama is well known as a back up choice for kids who couldn’t get into UGA. So maybe it’s you who should think about deleting your tweet.

Football player’s participation in Summer I and II so they can get offseason workouts and participate in offseason training is pretty standard.
Or do you believe that players go home for the summer?

It’s called an Interdisciplinary Studies degree at UGA:
A student with academic interests for which no suitable major is offered by any single department in the College of Arts and Sciences may pursue an Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) major. An IDS major plans a program of study and fourth-year thesis with a faculty advisor and an advisory committee, who are chosen by the student and the IDS Coordinator. The Interdisciplinary Studies major consists of a minimum of 24 hours of courses plus a Fourth-year Thesis (3 hours) on a topic of special interest. At least 15 hours of the major must be drawn from departments within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Well aware, but they don’t just award it to someone because they got a certain number of credit hours. If you are seeking a degree and change majors late in your career, especially to a different college like say A&S to Business or vice versa, you will end up with lots of “unused” credits.

You have to scroll down to see the part about talking with both Harvard and Yale.
Yikes, both Harvard and Yale would have had to count him toward their capped number of low academic performers they are allowed to admit each year for football.
