Saban on the QBs: "We have confidence in the guys we have in the program. They've worked hard all spring. ... I'm confident in the guys that we have. I'm confident they're going to work hard and be dedicated and committed to continuing to improve."

When you’re the biggest name in sports, people use you for leverage. Miami QB just trying to get others interested.

Sabah couldn’t even win his division with a fricking Heisman winner at QB

He didn’t say he was confident they could start and win…just that they’d work to improve

When did his QB win the heisman and not win the west?

He not only won the division, the year his QB won the Heisman, he also won the conference.

Young is the exact same size as Bennett and despite Bennett outplaying him all year, Young is somehow a top 5 pick. Future NFL bust

Yea, I know. All those televised practices that we've got to see, you can tell they aren't very good.

First of all, Saban has NEVER, EVER got up and gave much info about anybody. Remember a RB named Mark Ingram? Yea, nobody even knew who he was but he was killing it as a freshman in fall practice but Saban never once brought up his name. Remember how the AJ and Star Jackson QB competition was thiiiiis close, neither one is seperating themselves. Yea, ok.

Second, This is not going to be the BOB offense that all Bama opponents loved. Bama won't be slinging it around 65 times a game. Bama's going back to a RB oriented offense, which Bama opponents hated, and helping the defense by playing only 55 plays a game vs 90 plays a game. The QB is not nearly as important this season as the last 4 or 5 have been. The question people should be asking is how's the RB and O line look because that's where Bama will succeed or fail.

Sabah won tWest with a Heisman finalist - Bryce would become a Heisman winner a few weeks later. Sabah couldn’t win shite with a Heisman winner. Nice try though

I know LSU fans could definitely care less, since they post about Alabama all the time

I'm afraid it's much like recruits who have a BAMA hat on the table. It gets to the point if they all picked BAMA we would have 60 players coming in.

At some point, it's just wishful thinking.

Sorta like when TJ Finley listed Alabama as one of his finalists when he left LSU? Highly doubt anyone at Bama was offering him a roster spot
