This marks the 22nd year for the Southeastern Conference Championship to be contested on the Sea Island Golf Club's Seaside Course. The SEC has conducted its annual championship on St. Simons Island since 2001 (Seaside Course 2001-2007, 2010-2021; Frederica Golf Club 2008-2009). Since 1927, the Sea Island Golf Club has enjoyed a legacy as one of America's premier golf clubs.

Man we can crank out PGA tour players like nobody’s business but I don’t think the Dawgs have won it all since 2005.

The difference between first and last place is 39 strokes. Does south Carolinas golf team consist of a bunch of middle aged men that are there to get away from their wives and kids for the weekend and shotgun beers during the match?
