Don't fall. I don't know how your treatment will treat you. But in my case, it turned a bicycle-racing champion into a clumsy fool who can't walk from one end of the house to the other w/o incident.

Actually falling and running into walls is why I went to the doctor in the first place. And 45 minutes later I found out i had cancer and it metasticized from a more on my neck to liver, lungs, and trying to prevent it from getting to my pancreas.

Does the falling get worse once you started chemo? I’ve got bruises all over me. I’m 6’ and I end up smacking the ground or the wall 4/5x a day!

Captain, thank you for this. I watched the YouTube and your comment about riches really touched me. I am planning on coming back stronger. I have prayed more the last 2 months than ever before. Not really for me honestly, but my family and all the people that I am a burden to, to have peace and for me to not need to burden anyone.

I’ll admit I was a douche yesterday on both boards and I apologized. I can own anything. Especially now that my outlook on life is different. I’ll be better on here and have apologized for my aggressiveness and thats all I can do.

Your post really meant a lot. Thank you. God bless.

Because people in my own fan base are wishing cancer on me because of something I said on a message board. I’d like to not have the feeling of all these people wishing harm to me because of a message board when they all do the same things. I just got the heat for what I did. I should be better. I’m honestly sorry to the SEC and tRant. But I still get shat on.

It’s cool when your fellow Tiger friends out you down, but the guys from Alabama/UGA/SC have been giving me hope and positivity. It sucks when your fans hate you and actually wish harm in the form of metastatic cancer because of what I’ve said on a message board. I’ll be better, but it kinda sucks seeing people wanting you to fail at your health, when I’ve been supporting all tigers and fans for almost 40 years.

So I apologized. I took ownership. That’s all a man can do.

It took over a year for it to kick in on me. Once it hit me I went from walking just fine to... not. And now I'm OFF chemo and still running into things. I haven't had any falls in 3 months or so, so I should stop whining.

I edited because I thought you got the message. You do need my prayers and they are sincere. If anger is your answer, then so be it. And we have all been affected by cancer in some way or another. You don’t know my experience and you won’t. Good luck with your chemo.

I don’t need a message from you. Your comments are just as inflammatory as mine ever were. I don’t need you to police me. And to trivialize someone diagonsis when there are people here truly trying to get through this awful disease, saying “we’ve all been affected by cancer” is different than “we all have cancer” you trivializing our diagnoses bc “everyone is affected” is sad. When you get cancer and it ACTUALLY affects you, I’ll be here to pray for you, but as big as a douche as you have called me, your comments show a lack of empathy and is a slap in the face to anyone in this thread. “ all of us have been affected” takes away from all of us who are first hand affected.

You’re the same kind of dickhead I was being. Just know that. You aren’t an arbitrator, but you sure are a terrible human being for trivializing something like this. Seriously. I’m almost 40, I don’t need you telling me get over it everyone is affected by cancer.

Holler at me when you actually get it, not someone you know.

I may have been a dick, but what you’re doing in this thread leaves you in a league of your own.

Go comment to tide fan that cancer Isn’t that big of a deal. Then read what they’ve been through. You’re what’s wrong with this world. Have lost all empathy. Notice everyone is swapping prayers for family members and posters that have it first hand. Call me a dickhead for a message i do not need, but brother you’re worse human than my comments on this board could ever be.

Thank you USCe brother. I know you don’t know me but I’d really like to become a part of the people who have gotten good news and beaten diseases. That gives me so much hope. I will pray for you and your friends and hope that one day Spoonbilla can put random internet dude, Tigahs1977 in that list of positive results post treatment. God bless you.

Thank you, brother

I’m honestly not sure how exactly this board works, still, but I want to thank you. If my formatting is shite, please tell me, I’m on cell

I’m doing a lot better today, I’m at peace with what’s happening on Wednesday. The Bama guy in this thread with his incredibly strong wife have given me a lot of hope.

I woke up today to very minimal pain, still very unsteady on my feet, but after Wednesday I have 5 more treatments of red bag of bell and then I’ll be out on the pills if the pet scan shows improvement after 8 weeks of chemo!

BBA, although your first post was inflammatory towards me, I want to thank you for the prayers. Honestly I think this is going to make me into a better way more humble person. I’m just gonna post in game threads until the depression goes away.

I appreciate what you’ve said and what you’ve written, even calling me a sick head while simultaneously praying for my recovery.

We can all be dickheads at times. But I’m going to cool it, I promise. Live is too fcking short.

I appreciate your feedback no matter how you lay it down you’re a GOAT just like Thurman Thomas, and I’m glad Dylan has you as a mentor!

BBA, can you make walkons next week so I can buy you a beer? Or even on the concourse. I’d really like to do that to show my appreciation. You started off as a sick head and you amended it to come through my shorts. That’s a good sport. Thank you! Will be cheering for you guys (except MISS ST)

Thinking about you the next 48 hours. Remain strong and find your peace. No question I’m dickhead at times. I look forward to your full recovery.

Hey man we all say stupid stuff from time to time that 99% of us don't really mean. Don't even worry about it. You have more important things to think about. Praying for a fast recovery and you're always welcome at my house for a drink anytime.

I've sat in cancer waiting rooms for my dad, mother, sister & one grand parent. Myself as well. By mistake I walked into a pediatric cancer waiting room at M.D. Anderson. There is ZERO excuse for anyone to say critical things about any cancer patient. But....message board comments? Good Lord. And btw, that waiting room at M.D. Anderson had close to 100 kids in it, with parents. You'd be "mean" to them if they said the wrong thing?

Thank you for this. It means a lot. If you’re at the Box, I’d like to buy you a drink.

We all make mistakes and we all are arses at times. I can understand your frustration. But you came and made it right.

Please let me know when you’ll be at the box and I’ll buy you a beer or “bougie” nachos

I’m a good person, BBA, and I know you are too. I won’t hold anything against you. Much love! Please message me when you’re here and I’d like to shake your hand and treat you to a drink or some food.

They said chemo brings you down bad. I start tomorrow so I could watch the game. I’ll be at Mary Bird on Essen when I’m not at home. But I’d like to show my appreciation.

You’re not a bad guy, BBA, and I know it!!! Prayers for you and your family for a great year and a fantastic summer!
