Main channel today?
Some pretty good matchups
I know they are on sec + channel but only women’s golf and softball
Pathetic

It’s ridiculous. Typical ESPN forcing us to watch women’s sports.

It's popular sports first, then baseball.

Strange to see a fan of WAU (Women's Athletics Univ.) bitching about the girl sports.

ESPN refuses to promote college baseball.

The media are a bunch of protesting hippy cucks.

Because pre-Disney, that and Australian Rules Football was the only sport they could afford. I will give them credit. Espn+ is pretty cool when you scroll the list of live college baseball games on a spring weekend. I just wish they would mainstream it more. Its not like they have anything better to show on weekend afternoons this time of year.

Because college baseball is a niche sport Hitler like those.

State had 16k fans at the baseball game yesterday, their record for softball is 2,300, yet somehow espn thinks there is more demand to watch softball than baseball on tv

As for being able to watch the games, no issue at all. Im glad they provide the service and I am willing to pay for it.
Speaking from a growing the game perspective though, ESPN (love them or hate them) decides what is relevant sports wise. If they were to do a Saturday morning Gameday program like they do for college football and basketball, show highlights on the Sports center cycle, and have their talking head shows discuss it, the game would grow nationally. I don't believe its a conspiracy or anything on their part by not doing this, but the ball is in their court as it relates to college baseball becoming a bigger sport nationally. Without them doing this, the sport will remain where it is which is a regional sport with a week or two of national interest.

quote:Actually, Ron Polk invented SEC baseball. LSU just picked up the torch. College baseball was established out west with USC, Arizona State, Arizona and others.

In a way Ron Fraser invented SEC baseball. He was a gigantic influence on both Polk and Bertman.
