And why was UGA even putting against Tennessee?
Same reason South Carolina did, I guess?

I saw Ray Guy kick one 90+ yards against Ole Miss in 69 or 70.

At So Miss for a football visit today and love all the Ray Guy references. Ray Guy Way…love it.

He is definitely a crier.

in the 2018 Texas Bowl vs Missouri, Michael Dickson was freaking amazing.. and he won Texas Bowl MVP
It was getting ready to post this. It was not just 1 punt. Dickson had 11 punts inside the 20 and a 65 yard punt around the 3 yard line.

Is that UGA punt just a product of the Vol player stupidly letting it go while at his 20?

The best punt I have seen was a 70 to 75 yard punt in a High School State Championship game that rolled out of bounds inside the 5. It landed at least 20 yards behind the punt returner. It was a state record don’t know if it still is.

Vs Tennessee? SC only punted once homie, and that was when we were up by two scores. Every other South Carolina possession was either a TD or a mercy knee to end the half...

He badly misjudged it.

Nah, you guys would like to think it's "salt" but that sort of thing is not really in my DNA. I mean, does the dude that comes up with the gif before REALLY takes things on here THAT seriously? Do you really think they have a spiteful bone in their body? I don't think so. I just enjoy taking shots at the "Top dog" so to speak. I'd also like to think my retorts to posts like this are more in good natured ribbing than any real malice. But if you want to look at them that way and think it's salt, then that's your prerogative...
Additionally, part of my "focus" on UGA as of late is there's been a plethora of UGA posters trying to relive the glory days the last two seasons. I mean, I get it, and if SC ever wins a championship god help this board with the posts I'll make that I've already thought about. But I also hate to break it to the UGA fanbase, Sic transit gloria mundi or "Thus passes the glory of the world" or the translation I prefer, "All glory is fleeting". There's been tons of these posts on here because you UGA fans are desperately trying to relive the glory of the 21 and 22 seasons. Seems like there's a "Look how good UGA was last year" post or three on here every day. The realty is, that time is past and no mater how hard you guys want to relive it, the "high" will never be as high as it was in that moment. That's just the way it works. You guy might make a run and do it all again, the the glory of those moments are gone.
With all that being said, kicking me off the Uga board, for what was actually posted, was kinda weak. I respect the decision, it's a "your house, your rules" sort of thing and I get that. But it also kinda screamed we're an insecure fanbase even after two championships in a row. I guess the taunting's over those 40+ years really left a mark....
Best of luck in the future in all that. And FWIW, the best punter and possibly best overall special teams player in the SEC goes to SC and it's not close...

I mean, if you had posted about anything else you’d probably still be on our board. Two people losing their lives is probably not a post for outsiders to trash talk in.
And most of these new UGA posters are just trolls. Can you imagine this place if Tennessee won anything

Brad Wings bomb against Alabama in 9-6 that gumps claimed hit the camera wire.

Fair enough.
For the record, I wasn't looking at what I posted there as trash talk, I viewed it more of simply asking questions about the program and the situation to the UGA fanbase. Were they hard and pointed questions, sure. But there wasn't any real malice in them. There are serious conversations that you can't really have on the main board because of the riff-raff (myself included). But again, your house, your rules and I get that. However, I did want to go on the record as me not really harboring any real "hate" towards the UGA fan base in general.

That’s fair as well. I don’t think it came off that way at the time.

These are the kinds of things that happen in a championship season. Gotta have some good fortune.
I remember the 2010 iron bowl when ingram gets the ball punched out at the 25 yd line and that friggin ball rolls 6 inches from the sideline all the way through the back of the end zone for a touchback.

You guys were pretty sensitive about the whole situation, and rightly so (particularly when the situation is new and there is a lack of information out there). These sorts of things have the potential to bring down programs and even though many fans wouldn't admit it, there is always the question/fear in everyone's mind, "how deep does the rabbit hole go"? That didn't mean everyone asking questions or wanting to get to the bottom of things by have a discussion about the situation is "attacking" the program.
