If Bama shoots well - 25 point Bama win.

If Bama struggles shooting - 15 point Bama win.

Full disclosure - I am drunk.

Solid defensive team that will play hard. MW was a pretty good league this year, so they are at least decently tested. We are a big step up in competition though.

Their size is similar to that of Marylands. They have a little 5'10 guard who starts alongside two other small guards. We should be able to rebound well against them.

They’re really good on defense and are somewhat limited offensively. They’re tough and physical. Honestly a lot like Maryland in a lot of ways. If we play defense like we did last night SDSU will struggle to score and hopefully we will eventually pull away. Their defense will take awhile for our offense to adjust to (like Maryland’s last night) so we better bring our defense too.

Good....our length gave Maryland problems. Hopefully it will do the same to them.

Good solid team, but They're not going to make it easier on Bama. They're a team that can light up with 3's and their defense is very intense. Almost similar to Maryland with defense. Bama is the better team with better players, so we should easily beat them by 10 or more points. Bad night, we'll struggle to put them away. Our offense hasn't exactly been clicking in this tourament.

If you've ever been to San Diego, they have some nice beaches, pretty close to Tijuana and they hate LA (tbh who doesn't)

SDSU is pretty big on defense from what I can tell, they usually force opponents to drive into the paint and they can compress them there

We lit it up against tamucc with 96 points on great shooting percentages. Just night started tough, but we shoot good in the 2nd half. Overall, we shot before average but not badly.

.

Our PPP was a 1.09 (solid against a good team). An effective FG% of 44.8% isn't too bad. With good defense, you'll win that game more often than not.

Yeah I don't care what the stats say. I know our offense can be straight fire when we get going. And we have Brandon Miller.

What I'm getting at, is the stats day or offense wasn't bad in this tournament, like Panthers claimed. Even against a good, aggressive defense, we played good in the 2nd half, and did enough in the first. I'd love to see a ppp and a efg for each half, just to see the difference.

KenPom has us winning 72-67 with a 69% chance of winning. Torvik has us 71-68 with a 65% chance. Right now, it's a 7 point spread.

Here's the KenPom preview...

Torvik Preview

Looking at Torvik, they're good at guarding dunks and at the rim shots. Looking at KenPom, they're #4 at defending the 3. This is a good team. And every game they lost was to a team in the NCAA tournament. There's a reason they've been getting hyped since the beginning of the season.
