If I'm a GM in the NBA drafting youngsters on potential I'll take Walsh over NSJ all day.

Walsh has that sort of Rodman style of tough D and picking up garbage on offense. Impossible to teach.
NSJ has a lot of offensive potential, but there are red flags about his mental toughness.

Best thing I saw from NSJ was staying engaged on the bench. Makes me think he’ll willingly accept a lesser role unless things start clicking for him.

NSJ returned this season because his mental toughness.
He is playing right now through a hurt knee.
He missed practice because knee pain in the last few days.
He wanted to come back and play even others wanted him to shutdown the season.

I get your sentiment but this thread isn't actually that bad. Just talking about play on the court at least. We've had people taking personal shots and NSJ and Devo all year for no reason

There's clearly criticism to be had of Nick's game, but questioning his commitment and effort doesnt make sense to me. The kid has played through injury and put in maximal effort to help us win.

He’s a teenager. Nobody knows how good he’ll be in 3-5 years. He’s clearly not one of the top 10 players in college basketball right now but his ceiling is still very high.
