I expect dish is going to have to offer some really good deals once they are back up and running.

Doesn't affect me (yet). I'm locked in at $65.00 for two years.

I use Hulu Live Plus. My son just switched from Futbol because Aggies are on TBS and they don’t offer it. It’s looking more and more like all I’m using Hulu for is my local channels as we watch BritBox and Acorn and Roku most of the time. Will keep Hulu for football seasons.

The 19.99 never made any sense for 4k considering its like 7 channels
Agreed. I had that add-on for a while, and the HDR on Fox also looked like absolute shite, IMO. Makes me believe they're still shooting in 1080 and up-scaling, or using a weird signal format or something, like HLG.
ESPN had finally gotten around to broadcasting a 4K/UHD game and it looked much cleaner to me.
I ended up cancelling it though, because as you mention the real problem is that regardless of network, there are only like one-or-two games per week that are shown in that resolution.
Might reconsider it at this price when college football starts, though.

I only pay for YoutubeTV from August-Jan and March. I "pause" it the rest of the year.
You don't watch baseball games?

I just got it too. Ridiculous that it has increased almost 50 percent since we first got it two or three years ago!!

I don’t get why everyone is freaking out. They changed prices to $65 in 2020. It’s been 3 years. Inflation alone should push that to $75-76, and they’re moving it to $73
The cost of everything is going up everywhere. Why is this shocking?

We "cut the chord" 2 years ago and were paying about $300 a month for phone, cable and internet. Had just about everything available through comcast including a bunch of stuff no one anywhere anytime would view. 2 years later we are paying about $350 a month for streaming services and phone and internet (don't have a phone, don't even know what the number is but its about $10 a month less with phone than without). With Comcast you could surf and switch between games and it was almost seamless. To do that now takes a lot of jockeying between home screens and waiting for apps to load and it is a royal pain in the arse. We have blistering fast internet but the hoops needed to go from one app to another coupled with remembering what app has what network is overly complex. I am seriously considering a digital antennae and just using google on the TV and eliminating it all. We have about $100 a month in direct debits from services we don't even recognize not included in the $350 a month....only way to end those is to cancel the debit card and that would require re-entering it in all of the bills and what not that we use the same card for. Remember when you got a bill in the mail, wrote a check and put it in the mail and you turned the TV on and went to a channel and that was it? Technology really makes things SOOOOOooooooo much easier...

Well, time to go to FUBO TV. Hope they have the SEC Network.
FUBO is more than the new price. you have to pay for RSN's on FuBo. YTTV is still the best value even with the new price increase.

I’m pretty much the same (except with Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+ bundle)
I pay maybe $90 a month between all streaming services active at any one point in time. I keep Hulu from Aug-March then downgrade it and reactivate Netflix and maybe Paramount+ or AMC+
It’s really not a big deal and I’m not an idiot that can’t grasp simple economics so I can understand why pricing continues to rise every other year or so
