History is part of the legacy of greatness that defines a program. You’ll never read about the prestigious history of Vols baseball because there is nothing to talk about. Tennessee is not a championship program. LSU has always been a championship program.

If always means that time began when Skip came to town then I agree.
I believe the SEC had never won the CWS until UGA did in 1990. Skip won his first the next year and the SEC was never the same again. Ron Polk had some damn good teams though.
Pretty damn amazing how many different SEC schools have won it all in this century.

We will find out now that SEC play will start tomorrow. According to team stats UT, South Carolina and UF are ahead of LSU in most every statistical category. We will find out just how good LSU is in about 14 days.
