Honestly not surprising.
Some really sick people out there and while times have changed a lot since society was forcibly integrated people haven't changed as much as we'd like to think they have.

reminds me of an old acquaintance that tried to meet floyd mayweather in vegas once. as he approached him, his security guard stepped in. He told he just wanted an autograph and that he wasnt trying to start anything. The security told him, "i aint here to protect floyd, I'm here to protect you".

This situation, as bad as it is, can be used as an example by coaches as a teaching tool. Don’t bring idiot friends with you and don’t be out at all hours of early morning looking for trouble. And learn to say no.
But it will go away like a fart in the wind before long and nothing positive for future players will be gained from it. I hope I’m wrong though.
