Jesus that’s terrible officiating. Clear contact Auburn should’ve been at the line with a chance to tie it. If I’m Bruce Pearl I’m ripping the officiating and SEC office a new one in the post game presser.

Remember the and 1 they called for UT like 2 min. before that with about 1/10th of the contact and after the guy landed? Hard to complain when you shoot the way we did but that's just a joke.

Maybe they would've called it if Wendell Green didn't flop on every 3 point shot he took this game. It also could've been a makeup call for the 50 fouls Auburn committed on the inbounds play we turned it over on.

It's way worse when you consider some of the garbage they gave UT in the last 10 minutes.

It looked to me like the contact was created when Green wrapped his legs around the defender and then flopped. I'm glad that the refs recognized it for what it was, but they should also stop giving Vuscovich the calls every time he flops as well.

It’s especially egregious since the refs had called a phantom foul on Auburn on a UT three pointer a few minutes earlier.

Auburn should have had a better play for the three drawn up…

It wasn’t even a close call. Obvious foul.

Bruce got a warning in the first half for talking to the official after Barnes got no reprimand for being 12 feet into the court after a UTk player got T'd up after non-stop shite talking and throwing wild elbows.

The same ref then started into the AUnhuddle waiting for someone to say literally anything in the next TO. That guy was looking for controversy.

That looked eerily similar to the AU/UVA Final 4 last play. Should have been called a foul.

It was def a foul. Our fanbase would’ve def littered the court if it was the other way around lol.

He kicked his feet into the defender for the contact. Auburn got a penalty for that earlier in the game, and this was no different.

It should have been a foul you all right. But not on the defense. The offensive player jumped in the air, kicked both legs out and wrapped them around the defensive player. UT player never jumped and was straight up and down. That auburn player was called for flopping/kicking his feet out a few minutes prior that. It wasn’t his normal shooting motion. The defensive player is allowed to go straight up and down. May read the rule book next time before posting about something you don’t know about.
