Believe it or not....Stephen M Smith claims that Saban is all in on Jeremy Pruitt. He said Bama has gotten through about 85% of the red tape of dealing with the NCAA. The one sticking point is supposedly about a clause that says Pruitt cannot coach until August 1st. So far he is the only person that claims to know what is taking so long. If Bama can work out that clause, Pruitt will be the next DC.

We have heard that Pruitt is one of the top three candidates for DC, the others are Schuman at GA and Leonard at WI.

He's a very good defensive coach, and not likely to get a head coaching job anytime soon. Not a bad choice, imo.

As an LSU fan, I would not like for Pruitt to get the job. He's a damn good DC. Please look elsewhere. Tia

Seems like it would be easier to get a younger guy like Schuman without all of the red tape to coach a bunch of 5 stars.
