Agree, would love to have that guy on our team. Speaking of Bo would be playing tonight if not for that guy!

You do realize Penix was brought up by Freeze as an example of what kind of improvement can be had in portal transfer's second year?

Penix lit it up last season too. In fact, he had more yards in 2022 than 2023, so that would’ve been a bad example by Freeze.

I do not agree with this, they still have all the building blocks you need to be a good team, but without him this is likely Oregon playing this game.

I'm really excited to have had all the recruiting success we had then go with PT at QB again. Especially after the awesome showing in our bowl game vs a team missing their starting QB

Well, the complaints about the Oline on here. In the PAC12 championship, they said Penix has been one of the most pressured QBs in the country this season. Even watching this game, you see him consistently getting pressured. They also are the 97th rushing offense, so not much help there. So tell me what would happen if let’s say that Oline had our current QB situation?

And just for reference, Auburn had the 24th rushing offense this season. Just imagine the running lanes with a QB that made defenses fear the pass.

Just came here to say Penix is an artist who paints with his balls. He is the epitome of that description.

I think he’s incapable of throwing an ugly ball. Everything that leaves his hand looks tight.

I just said the same thing... I don't think Washington wins without him. We need an impact QB like that.

He has been sacked just 10 times.

That is the most he has ever been sacked in his whole career. His situation is a lot different than Thorne's.

If Tom Brady, Payton Manning and Pat Maholms had a baby, it would be Penix.

Holy frick he is talking Washington's OL as if they are terrible

They won the Joe Moore award.

LINK .

Huskies’ o-line is also responsible for the team ranking No. 5 in the nation in fewest sacks allowed.

Washington has allowed just 11 sacks in 13 games, and only 46 tackles for loss

The Huskies, who are 13-0 and ranked No. 2, lead the nation in passing offense, and are No. 12 in total offense.

Over the season’s last five games, which included four games against ranked opponents (two of them in the top-10), Washington averaged 162.0 rushing yards per game. Among the teams UW beat in that five-game run were Utah (No. 4 in the nation in rushing defense), Oregon (No. 11), and Oregon State (No. 15).

Washington is also No. 10 in scoring offense, No. 11 in third-down conversion percentage, and No. 9 in fourth-down conversion percentage

They’re not great. They can’t run block for crap, and Penix is always under pressure. He just gets rid of the ball. Sorry if facts don’t fit your narrative.
