Vandagriff has sixth best odds at winning the Heisman next year according to Fan Duel.

No mention of Carson Beck, the assumed starter.

What’s going on here?

That is weird. And ahead of Jayden Daniels and Joe Milton.

And Caleb Williams the front runner, he just won it. They never give it to the same guy twice.

This has to be click bait.

... I liked what I saw from Beck in "garbage" time, loved his big arm and accuracy...

But if CKS/CTM think BVG is a better option imma jiggy with that too.

Their plan, their vision, imma just along for the ride...

I'm #teamgunnar

Would accept Brock though

Carson Beck cannot follow Stet. He ain't got that Dawg in him. You can look at him and tell. Plus he couldn't even keep a secret under wraps for a week in 2021. L..though without that, we may have never gotten to witness the stetson Bennet experience

Remember he was going to start the UAB game (or one of those other early games) and then someone in his network leaked it and stetson ended up starting.

I saw that this morning and was wondering if they know something no one else does.

Beck didn't lose the job because of his dad's social media account. Beck had a bad Monday of practice (per Aaron Murray who has been team Beck since fall camp 2020). The staff went into panic mode trying to get right and Stetson (who was always steady eddie) more than handled business.

Ceasar Sportbook has Beck ahead of BVG.

It also shows the Fanduel odds on BVG as +3000, not +1600.

So the graphic does not match the actual odds when you look it up.

ETA- you can get Brock Bowers for +15,000 which is probably the smartest play on that board.

He would know more than me, but isn't it off that they made such a quick decision based on one bad practice?

Kirby had called had said he was QB2 earlier too.

Just thinking about it, Stetson really showed how confidence can help QB's performance. He never wavered even after bad games. Lack of confidence seemed to hurt Eason and Fromm seemed to lose confidence his Jr year. I'm not sure I'll ever see a QB at UGA w/ the confidence that Stetson had.

I don't have a dawg in this fight. I trust the coaches to play whoever is the best guy for the team.

Ty Simpson at +2500. I hope he has Saban tearing his hair out by the clump.

I can't make a QB pick until I see the competitors in live action. High school tape and practice can both deceive. I have confidence that Beck is a pretty good option but that's all I know.

I hope that the good doesn't obscure the great. Stetson was lucky that no one else could do much for one reason or another.

Just think, OSU never really realized how good Joe Burrow was.

Can't wait for the stretch in Stetson's "Last Dance" documentary that covers this

Butterfly effect level decisions were made that week with no one knowing the full implications on Georgia history.

You don't think the coaches take practice seriously?

Lol

OK. May I introduce you to Coach Kirby Smart and Coach Todd Monken?
