Looks like the day before he was ruled out for the season due to an ankle injury. Played in about 6 games I think it said.

He had been away from the team for what was reported to be a mental health issue. Yesterday was his first day back on the bench in a few weeks.

That was at Copper Top. That’s not “the strip.”

Since when are people getting shot on the strip?

She wasn't shot on the strip. She was shot at an apartment complex a couple of blocks away, behind the Publix. Her boyfriend drove down the strip until he saw a cop and stopped for help.

I’m not going to buy “mental illness” unless there’s a report from a medical professional saying it was a mental illness. Being a sociopath willing to kill another human being because of a verbal argument doesn’t qualify.

I don't care if there is a report.

I know the courts say differently, but if you murder someone you can be crazy and guilty but you're still guilty.

He's an adult. If he's convicted of capitol murder, the only possible sentences are death or life without parole.

If dude is carrying gun, what are the odds he's involved in drugs?

I hope that is what sticks.

But these things always seem to get plea down to lesser charges.

I'm sure this topic will be reasonably discussed and LSU fans won't try to use this as a reason to talk shite to/about Alabama.

Death penalty case for shooting at someone in car? Good on Alabama if so. Maybe some of the La Legislators who visit this site can pass a similar law here. Too many vehicle to vehicle shootings here.

It is a culture issue that will not be resolved by white folks. The solution must come from within the culture. Oats and Alabama have nothing to do with the decision this young thug made to throw his life away.

It’s not trolling to point out that there’s culpability on the part of Alabama. You failing to recognize that is the crimson tinted glasses.

Alabama is as culpable as McDonalds would be if you shot someone after the morning shift. GFY
