Will Stetson Bennett be drafted?

Seems a lot of projections have him going 6th, 7th round or maybe not at all.
Saw one scout compared him to Jake Fromm without the height.
Does the board think he's played his way into being a late round selection?

Why are you so insecure?

He’s certainly played his way into LSU fans’ heads

Why is a CFB reporter asking such questions?
Shouldn’t you be telling us what his future is?

Sure from 5th to 7th round, worth a shot.

He’s probably off the board by the 5th. I read some where 4 QB’s could be taken in the 1st, my guess is Bryce Levis and Stouts are 3. Duggan probably drops, the Florida QB gone by the 2nd or 3rd. If Stetson is within the Top 10 QB prospects, which I believe he will be, statistically he should be drafted by the 5th. I can’t see a scenario he goes undrafted.

He is way better than Fromm. It’s not even close. Fromm was average at best. Bennett will be drafted day 3 and make an NFL roster. Will he last? Who knows. But he will be drafted and he will make a team.

No franchise is drafting a 5'7 physical and mental midget who folds under pressure. NFL has a level playing field, he won't have all day to throw like he did in college.

Okay.

“He’s an NFL guy,” he said. “He’s a backup. He will get drafted. Obviously very instinctive, a good athlete that runs well, has enough arm. The guy makes impressive throws and has big balls. He’s absolutely getting taken; I say sixth round. [Former Georgia quarterback Jake] Fromm went in [the fifth round], and the talent level isn’t much different.”

Or you could just answer the question, but your bitchass cannot do so.
he is absolutely drafted. If i am the falcons, i take him. Dude did things in Georgia no Qb could do in 42 years... win a championship. Ridder is not doing that for the falcons.

Alas, there are some here who are perpetually offended and cannot have a serious discussion.

Okay, that scout is an idiot then. For one, Stetson moves way better and, two, his arm strength is much better. Fromm couldn't throw it more than 30 yards.
That scout has never seen them both play.

Yep. Arm strength has never been a problem for Stetson. It’s not a positive but it certainly isn’t a negative either.
His biggest knocks will be size and age. His biggest positives will be speed, pocket awareness, and familiarity with an NFL style offense under Monken (like Kirby mentioned)

I mean from what I witnessed he’s worked hard and Looks to me like a pretty good quarterback. If he keeps working hard and getting better I don’t see why he couldn’t make a splash at the next level.

He’s my #1 pick for mowing

Someone will take a flyer on him in the 7th round. May end up Mr. Irrelevant

The Fromm comparison is a bad one. Jake probably threw a more accurate outside the hash pass. Though SB IV has improved in that area.
But arm strength? No real comparison. That's what killed Fromm at the combine.
Bennett has some zip on his ball. This is why Fromm was always afraid to throw intermediate passes over the middle because he didn't trust himself to be able to get it there in a tight window.
Look at Bennett in that last drive versus OSU. That's what he does best.
