You just can’t ever tell how these transfers with fit chemistry wise.

Hopefully, but that doesn't mean his agent didn't file. Until he says he's staying...

Bit of perspective from one of the Athens beat reporters:

Would be huge. O-line would go from a rebuild to a team strength if he stayed.

Any player who declares has 72 hours to withdraw their name. The complete list of early entry declarees is sent to NFL teams on Friday morning.

It's very possible SVPG is on the list and may decide to come off the list over the next 48 hours.

Ladd is more interesting to me. I’d hate to see him go but if he’s grading mid draft and given his issues with his knees - it would be tough to pass up. I don’t know that his stock would rise a whole lot more and it’s going to be a crowded receiving room next year.

I don’t see SVP making a big statement either way given how the last few days went

I just view the transfer portal as a way that Kirby can process guys out just by simply being honest.

The portal is a positive for coaches and staffs that can recruit and develop.

Agreed. There's a case to be made for both outcomes, especially in light of Sunday morning's tragedy.

Hearing rumors of AD Mitchell portaling to Texas. Hope that’s not true.

NIL money and he has a child in Texas.

Dom going to Tech would be a real kick in the nuts.

Graham saying it is 60/40 that he leaves.

Wild.

Barely had him this year and we still won it all. Sucks but we'll be fine.

I heard that the day of the Peach Bowl. Didn’t put any stock into it. That would suck.

I’m guessing he wants to go be THE guy, which he won’t be at UGA with how we spread it around and all of the other stud pass catchers. Sucks to lose a talent like that, but it’s bound to happen with a WR that crowded.

He’s a beast, and his TD catch against Bama is probably my all time favorite play, but UGA will be fine.

we lose 3 of our top 5 pass catchers, if he's healthy he could easily be our highest volume catcher next year.

plus i think we keep airing it out on offense, could easily have +11 yds/att next year. the difficult thing is that we don't throw any passes in 4th quarter.
