Bama did not qualify for sec west champ. There was a way. But they were NOT good nuff.

Georgia never had to play the most talented team (Alabama) or the #2 seed in the playoff.
Very unsual for a national champion. Doesn’t make them any less champions this year. But will always make people wonder how they really measure up against the best.
