Latham and Booker are studs

McLaughlin is solid

I think Proctor comes in and plays right away.

And I think our OL Coach is good and he needed a year to get Marrone out of our players.

I think we are gonna be solid

I have a lot of confidence in Eric Wolford developing the OL too. He seems to be a good combination of coach and recruiter.

Elijah Pritchett is going to be a starter as well. Really talented player.

McLaughlin reminds me of Jason Kelce. Quick feet, gets to the 2nd level well.

Really like Booker's motor. Latham is a prototype for the NFL.

But we've got to run the ball more to let these guys establish themselves. We went from winning games in the trenches with great RBs to winning games bc we had dominant skill players. And then one day all the dominant skill players ended up in the NFL .

Next year's OL could be a great unit.

LT: Elijah Pritchett
LG: Tyler Booker
C: Seth McLaughlin
RG: Kadyn Proctor
RT: JC Latham

Combine that group with a very good running back room with several capable runners and there is plenty of reason to think about having a good running game. I want to see Jamarion Miller get more carries. But you have to know that the wide receiver unit returns intact. That unit should be outstanding. Then you add in the transfer TE from Maryland and an improved Amari Niblack.

Not sure if we will ever be a guy who impacts the run game. He didn't show a lot of want-to in his limited minutes.

I did like what we saw from Robbie Oustz in the bowl game. I don't know if he's great for a zone blocking scheme, but he can put a hat on a hat. He's reminds me of Prosch from Auburn a few years back. For a fullback, he's a good athlete.

Niblack is a big wide receiver but that's a good thing. I actually liked what I saw from Danny Lewis the freshman when he got in the game. He's a huge tight end. Sort of reminds me of Michael Williams back in the day. Great blocker. Outzs definitely proved to be an asset as the season wore on. He looked competent as a receiver against Auburn. That surprised me. The transfer from Maryland is going to be an immediate impact player.

Other than the rotating, I think Wofford did a good job considering what he had to work with. I mean, a transfer from fricking Vanderbilt was out LT. Vanderbilt! And it’s not he was some hyped superstar like the kid from Northwestern who will be a first round pick.

I think we will be just fine on the OL next year. Now DL? That’s another story

John Parker Wilson was just talking about the running back, Miller. He thinks Miller will be real good.

Miller is better than Roydell right now and could be a better pure runner than Jase, I know he's faster. Kid averaged 7 yards per carry this season. Tale as old as time with Saban playing a less talented upper classman.

Miller should've seen Josh Jacobs freshman workload at minimum imo

Smith and Oatis are solid on the DL. Payne has to step up from the 2021 class, maybe Burroughs or Latham step up later in their career like P. Mathis

Lack of pass protection limited Miller's playing time.

No matter who the starting QB is next season or how talented, they will have no experience so you know they are going to start the 23 season leaning on the OL and running backs to carry us forward. Get that going early and slowly add to the passing attack and it can snowball on you. The key is being able to run.

So put him in there to run. Everybody knew we were running when Roydell came in. It’s not like we had some unpredictable offense.

There's the potential for Eboigbe to come back next year and play as well if his spinal injury is fully healed. He looked like our best lineman to start the year until he got hurt.

We need an interior D lineman that can disrupt the pass protection. We need a Barmore or Q Williams type player. At least someone that can push the pocket back towards the QB.
I think Clemson stole one from us in recruiting. We have to improve the interior of the defense. And tackle better. Those 2 things hurt us way more than any play calling.

James Smith was brought in for that very reason. He will play early. I also want to see how Oatis improves after another year in the S&C program. There is no doubt that he is a five star talent as long as his weight is managed right. Maybe Tim Smith will have a good senior year.

Eboigbe getting injured was a huge loss for the front. I hope that he can come back healthy next year.
