TCU will win the National Championship - Because of QB

Kirby has only defeated a great QB 3 times in seven years.
Overtime win over Baker Mayfield
Natty vs Bryce Young (after just getting embarrassed by them in SECCG, almost cancels this one out)
Peach Bowl over Stroud- we all know this was pure luck.
This is 7 years of coaching for Kirby. It's crazy how time flies.
He has only been able to defeat 3 teams with elite quarterbacks.
One in overtime, one by pure luck, and another that was a rematch where the elite quarterback had just lit him up.
Max Duggan is a legit elite quarterback who was a Heisman finalist, big, physical, fast, shifty, reads the field, throws bullets.
He makes the kind of throws that you just can't defend. When the ball is consistently put in the one spot where only your guy can get it, you can't defend it. That's what Max does. And if you go chasing out of the pocket with blitz, he inflicts damage with his legs.
Sure, top to bottom UGA has more talent spread across the teams, but Max Duggan is the difference maker here.
And he's the one who should have won the Heisman.
He consistently packs the whole team on his back and carries them to win after win after win after win.
Frogs by 5.
And a great season by Georgia with back to back playoff appearances, the SEC Champs, Peach Bowl champs, a Mackey Award, and Heisman Finalist, multiple MVP honors, and an undefeated regular season.

TCU is dangerous, but I think Georgia is just too much for them, especially coming off a week after Michigan.
Don't sell Bennett short; if the guy was at Alabama, Clemson, USC, or Ohio State, he would already have won a Heisman.

The reverse jinx doesn't work. UGA can't lose.
TCU isn't man enough.

Duggan is not on the level or near it of any the quarterbacks you listed. He’s a nice quarterback for the season but Georgia will likely win handily.

Duggan is a good college QB but he wasn't even the starter for TCU to start the season and won't be a high-round draft pick for the NFL.

Oklahoma, Alabama and OSU had elite QBs and elite or near elite receivers for at least part of the game. TCU has a near elite QB a lot like UGAs and some good receivers but no elite receivers. TCU can certainly beat UGA but it will be an upset...on paper it ain't close. The one edge TCU has is they are loose and have nothing to lose...both of those can cut both ways. If, and its a huge if, UGA plays their B+ game and TCU plays their A+ game UGA wins by 2 possessions.

Duggan may be as good as Stetson Bennett but that ain't been decided for certain. He certainly isn't on a Mayfield, Young or Stroud level and TCU receivers aren't on the same level as Alabama, Oklahoma or OSU....

Georgia will struggle with pass rush with how thin they are at OLB.
TCU’s #1 receiver is a beast and will torch Ringo like every great receiver has this year. This will be a close game.

No elite WR? Have you not seen Quinten Johnson? Dude is a Larry Fitzgerald type WR. Tall with a huge vertical for 50/50 balls and great hands.

Very good no doubt against big 12 defenses or what passes for defenses.
TCU is ranked 29th in Passing Offense, 24 Spots behind Tennessee, 19 spots behind Mississppi State, 15 spots behind Ohio State, 12 spots behind Oregon and one spot ahead of LSU. They have looked very good against suspect defenses in the Big 12. UGA has a 4-0 record against teams with better passing games who also played against SEC and Big 10 defenses and won by a combined score of 163-76. TCU can beat UGA for certain and they are a very good football team but if UGA plays as well as they did in 10 of 14 games and TCU plays as well as they did in 13 of 13 games UGA wins by 2 possessions and it isn't that close....

Not exactly correct. Number 1 for TCU is as good as anybody and likely a first round pick. He's 6'4" and 215 lbs with 4.4 speed.

You sure about that?

Interesting comparison I think Johnston is much faster than Fitz was, also his route tree isn't quite as good. Johnston is a ridiculous deep threat though.

I usually pull the for underdog, so I'll be pulling for TCU

If Georgia plays our brand of football, it won't even be close. TCU excels at capitalizing on their opponents' mistakes. If you don't give them any to feed on, then they'll be dispatched before the cell phones come out for Krypton Fanfare.

I don't know. I think the game will be won on at the LOS on both sides of the ball and the bottom line is that Georgia is better than TCU at both. I think TCU probably shot their load against Michigan and probably won't have much in the tank for a physical game with Georgia.

This is likely the case. Folks were trying to stir up shite on ESPNU radio on XM this week saying that Georgia is due for a letdown game after such an emotional win over tOSU.
I'd be willing to be that TCU paid a higher emotional toll than the Dawgs did in their respective wins.

Did you even watch the Fiesta Bowl? Michigan should have scored on 3 different trips to the red zone, but came away with zero. Let’s say two of those are TDs and one is a FG, that’s 17pts, now take away the pick sixes and there’s another -14. That’s a 31pt swing if Michigan plays a decent game. I think it’s safe to say that the entire football-savvy country would be blown away if UGA plays the NCG the way UM played the Fiesta Bowl. And don’t forget UGA has both Muschamp and Bobo, who were both great coordinators, to help game plan. Even with all of the OLB injuries they have, it won’t be close. Duggan is a really good QB and Johnston is a great WR, but they haven’t seen anything like Georgia’s defense. TCU’s O-line won’t be able to keep Jalen Carter from creating chaos all night. OSU’s athletes matched up very well with Georgia’s. TCU’s players, for the most part, aren’t even close to being in the same league. Georgia by at least 3 scores

Show me who can cover Harrison Jr. for 15 seconds. I'm not sure TCU will have that luxury.
