We return to that same stadium for the same game.

Loudest game I’ve ever been to. When the D was on the field it was electric

to me, that's still one of the greatest victories ever, in any sport. i still believe the ref dropped a late flag, just to let miami keep the ball.

I remember that very well even though I was only ten years old at the time. That strip from Teague was the moment that stood out to me the most as a kid even though it happened on a penalty play I believe. He wasn't even in the frame of the camera and ran that dude down like he was mad at the grass. As fans, it was a reminder that Bama wasn't done asserting itself as one of the best programs of all time!

I was 14 years old. I went with my dad. Best day we ever had together. Didn’t know we were going until the morning of the game. He passed away two years ago. If the game were played on 1/1, I would have gone just for the nostalgia.

The greatest Bama game ever.

I remember hoping we could just hang around and make it a game. But early on, maybe 1st or 2nd drive, Deuce almost bust a punt return. A play most people probably don’t remember but there was something about that pushed me from hopeful to convinced of Bama victory.

Entire game without the commercials. I fall asleep to this most nights with one AirPod in. Keeps my mind from racing. That defense was fast by any standard. Offense was one-dimensional (Lassic). Palmer had relatively few touches, but Miami’s punt after going 3 and out on their first drive was almost taken to the house. Keith Jackson: “He’s got a hole!” (That’s what she said).

That's the play I most remember from my childhood. That's when I knew we were going to win that game.

I didn't even think about it being 30 years ago until this thread. That means I was 10. Probably one of the earliest seasons I actually remember and actually could understand the game a little.

I went with my Dad too.......still my favorite Bama victory of all time even more than anything we have done in the Saban era.
