Seems to me that the move to TE was genius and will make him rich.

He was dang near KJ’s preferred target….and I’d hope would be featured more.

Perhaps he realized how asinine it was to take a snap on the 1 while 500 lbs of QB and RB stood behind him?

If Trey was a can't-miss pro, he would be declaring for the draft

he's done 4 years here

He's probably graduated and going somewhere else to grab a master's degree, just like Reid Bauer

or if we put our thinking caps on we can remember that his position coach, who he’s probably really close with, is going to another school to be the OC and got in his ear before he left and told him he’d be a focal point of the SC offense next year if he’ll tag along.

Don’t we have several 4 star tight ends coming in?

Good luck to him and I wish him well wherever he lands.

They won't be coming with Loggains going to SCar.

so South Carolina is going to base its offense around tight ends next year?

that's what your thinking cap got you?

Nothing wrong with him leaving. If he thinks that he has any chance of playing professionally, he needs to go elsewhere. We refused to utilize him much.

Best of luck

He looked the part but was never a big part of our offense. Not something to melt over, this is the portal reality now

Next man up

Didn’t he have the most catches of anyone this year?

And he was criminally under utilized

Not even close. He had like 30 less than Haselwood and 20 less than Landers.

Really liked him when he first got here. He vanished then made some plays this year. Seems big but not a huge loss. Sam does need to get to work.

The entire deal is going to sting…Losing Knox and the TE recruits is gonna hurt. Assuming Knox ends up at SCar.

If I was Trey Knox, I’d wait until after the Bowl game to commit.

A lot of QBs have been pulling out of this draft, which means if Spencer Rattler shows out against Notre Dame, he might leave this year. 3 perfect games might be as high as he gets after two last crappy years.

where did I say that? I said his position coach is going to tight end to be their OC and he is probably TELLING HIM he’ll be a focal point of their offense. Meaning he will use him more than he got used here. And that’s why he’s leaving.

Landers had 7 and Knox had 5. So he was second on the team not first. I’d still say that’s a decent part of the offense

I’ll say it. I think people see Georgias two tight end and running back sets. That will be the future of college football. Large tight ends that can catch against undersized linebackers.

Everything is cyclical and the whole sport is a copy cat..:

idk about everyone but that was damn sure our plan before loggains left and I’m sure it still is but need to find a way to keep these big time tight end recruits committed. Just because loggains left doesn’t mean they are for sure gone but we need to make a good hire to re affirm them
