CFP Semis aren't NY6 games.

I see six games listed for the NY6 games. So you are saying the New Year's SIX games only have FOUR games. But they are called the New Year's SIX games.
Gotcha

There are a total of 6 bowl games that rotate through the CFP Semis, and the other 4 round out the slate yes, but it is not accurate to call the CFP games themselves part of the NY6.

No one thinks LSU gets a NY6 bowl?

They will have 3 losses, Bama and Tennessee will have 2 and will be higher ranked.

KSU would kill cinci.
Those would be some good games though.

While that may be true every projection I’ve seen has us in either Sugar, Orange or Cotton. Why couldn’t all three of us get a NY6 bid?

What? Yes they are, they are both.

It could happen, but my guess is you may drop below KSU.. maybe not. Also I’m not sure of all the ties ins as well.

Ok so I looked around.. there are no Conf limits for at large.. so I guess it could happen.
The Cotton, Fiesta, and Peach do not have tie ins…. With the Peach and Fiesta hosting semis , that may limit at large spots.
In my scenario..
UGA vs TCU in Peach
OSU vs USC in Fiesta
The Rose will have to select Oregon and Michigan
The Sugar will have to select 2nd highest ranked SEC and B12 ( so PSU cannot go ) so I’m guessing Tennessee and KSU
The Orange has to select Clemson/UNC and SEC#3 or BIG#3 or ND ( which is unlikely) so I’m guessing Alabama even though LSU beat them, they may drop below Bama with 3 losses.
The cotton would then have to take Cinn as the highest ranked G5 and probably choose PSU.
That would balance the B10 and SEC with 3 schools each.

Thanks for looking into that.
If we somehow play you guys close and make it a good game then hoping we stay ranked ahead of UT but that’s a long shot.
Going to be pissed if that FSU loss comes back to bite us in the arse but nobody to blame but ourselves.
