Lets assume for a second that Lane Train comes east and stops in Auburn.

In the long run, how do you feel Lane's playful nature will mesh with the Auburn faithful? Most of Auburns coaches have been more business-like in nature as of the last 25 years. Lane now comes in and has some twitter fun, will it eventually rub the faithful wrong?

You would think the younger crowd would love it as social media "stuff" is a big part of their life. The old crowd, not so much.

If it happens, It will be fun to once again have someone to follow on twitter.

Like the idiosyncrasies of every coach everywhere, they always play fine.. if you’re winning.

He’s definitely not what Auburn is used to. Like you said, young people will love it. Old people won’t, but they’ll tolerate it as long as he’s winning. If things go south, many will pull the moral high ground card.

Don’t care what he says tweets or does as long as we’re scoring touchdowns

Kiffins biggest problem at Auburn will be him not getting involved with the political stuff, the rah rah family stuff and not rubbing elbows.

He hates all of that. Something is going to have to give.

In one week: Twitter was ending but now isn’t; Kiffin was going to Auburn, now isn’t.

This means only one thing.

You pretty much hit it. I think he likes for them to leave him alone. Which may not happen here unfortunately.

This member of the Auburn faithful would accept Kiffin with reservations. He won't be as bad as Harsin but I will be keeping my eyes peeled for the news that he is headed for Alabama with our best players and coaching staff.

I don’t care how he acts, if he wins championships. He can dress like Cam for all I care.

Auburn faithful?

Many of them need to realize they have cost themselves a lot of money to get to where Auburn is.

Can someone give examples of this stuff that happens at Auburn but now doesn't happen with Saban (for example) at Alabama, or stuff Kiffin might have skipped out on at Ole Miss (yes, I know he didn't light the Christmas tree one year)?

I somewhat believe the booster meddling at Auburn, but that's different than him having to be proactive (meddling won't be a problem if he wins).

If he wins, he can cross dress.

Nothing will help if he loses.
