Just don’t see us beating UGA. Glad we’re in the discussion but the SECCG is likely going to be our 3rd loss of the season. Our defense should be good, but I don’t see our offense being productive against the UGA D.

Georgia’s Defense requires an elite decision maker and executer under Center. We have an extremely well coached athletic player who is operating at his peak capacity. I just don’t think he’s good enough to score enough points versus Kirby’s Defense.

Which makes this discussion for LSU Fans fun but somewhat akin to Tennessee Fans over the past few weeks.

Let’s sweep behind our own porch before we sweep behind another team, poll or committee’s.

It was horrible. For an SEC team to have such a poor showing - especially against an ACC team - was disgraceful.

And Lincoln "first round exit" Riley will get trounced by 40+ again...
And osu (or um) will bounce tcu to face off against uga.

Rinse, repeat.

Not surprising.
LSU got blown out by Tennessee who just got blown out by unranked SC.

I believe that if Michigan beats Ohio State they will keep Ohio State at #4 but if Ohio State wins they should drop to #5 and that opens LSU’s door.

I can’t wait to watch another Lincoln Riley led team get the doors blown off of them in the playoffs.

LSU isn’t getting in over 1 loss UGA. Winner of OSU/Mich is in. TCU wins out they’re in. USC wins out they’re in. LSU needs USC or TCU to lose.

Agreed.

UGA and OSU/UM have two spots locked down. If LSU wins out, we likely still need TCU or USC to drop one.

Honestly, Tennessee should still be in front of us.

playoffs will be as previously noted

uga
osu
tcu
usc
if all 4 of those teams win out then you’re right but that’s obvious. 2 games left still for all of them.

Path’s the same. If LSU beats A&M and UGA, no matter how improbable, they’ll be in.

If LSU makes the playoffs, it won't be based on anything LSU did. It will be because both USC and Clemson lost again and TCU lost both of their last two games. That's the only way LSU has a chance.

In your scenario YOU put value on 1 loss vs 2.

When butthurt rece made that same claim in week 1 of the cfp show and asked this directly to a committee member, HIS response was that they value conference champs.

I’ll take his opinion.

Oh, don't go being dismissive with the way Georgia has played in several games this year.

Your offense is good, but not great. Your defensive is elite but has shown cracks on occasion.

Anyone can go down and you could very well get your arse handed to you.

Not worried about rankings alot of football left to be played. LSU just needs to worry about A&M this coming week.

I get it, but I am a little surprised they moved Alabama ahead of Tennessee.
