Glad the BOT didn’t F up the obvious choice.

I have no idea what this means but everyone says he's a home run.

Beyond the historical significance of being the first black chancellor he has literally worked his way up starting as an assistant professor. Plus seems to have a good working relationship with the athletic department which is important.

Loved some Charlie Robinson back when we lived in the house.

Don't think I seen a single classroom,
But I drank a lot of beer.
My buddies still love to listen to me when I talk about that year.

we worked 80 hours makin time and and a half but LaGrange was too damn hot.

We drove back home at the end that week and we spent it all on pot.

From Texas country to chancellor. Amazing transformation.

I don’t know either, but everyone said Jimbo, Tom Herman, Charlie Strong… etc, etc, etc… were home run hires. So we will see.

The Waltons wanted the other, out-of-state guy with no connections. Even wrote an op ed in the Democrat-Gazette. Kind of shocking they didn't get their way, but I don't think the BOT appreciated the overt public pressure

He has a difficult job of reuniting everyone after this acrimonious job fight

I have a few friends who say he's a homerun. I've heard nothing but good things.

Now I got myself a little band and we're pretty good I guess. But I never learned how to wear my hair and I never learned how to dress.

A good, solid, hire. Maybe not a homerun but a solid choice. I can live with a solid choice. A "I won't try to reinvent the wheel" guy sounds good for the school.

I dont have an opinion other than promoting from within to a lifelong U of A employee makes perfect sense for our school.
