But I’d trade both for a ny6 birth. Not win just making it to a ny6 game. Now I know most of you will laugh and downvote me and say how dumb it is but idc, football is what matters. I’d gladly trade spots with alabama and suck out loud at everything else if it meant being elite at football. Now I don’t pretend to believe we will ever be alabama but there’s no ducking excuse we can’t be as good as Oklahoma state, Baylor, tcu, or ole miss who have all had much more success in football than we have in the last few years. I know 3 of those schools are in the big 12 but if we were coached as well as those big 12 schools and developed talent the way they do there’s no reason we couldn’t have a 10-3/11-2 season ONCE every 5 years. We may not be bama or ohio state in football but aren’t reserved to the shite we’ve been dealt the past decade either. We aren’t reserved to losing to schools like liberty. This is embarrassing and infuriating and we are better than the product we’ve been given.

Basketball has the only chance of the three, major changes, revamps, and raised expectations would be required of the other two.

Our basketball program has all of the built in advantages football doesn't.

Better prestige and doesn't have the reputation of a bad program.

Takes years to change those stars. And competent hires back to back to back…which we have a problem doing.

Ole Miss is probably going to go back to back years. Yes, I’m jealous.

They were stuck in mediocrity until the set the expectation level and demanded it be met.

What do you know it was not only met but eclipsed the first year.

And? I’m only alive for a certain amount of years so I’ll gladly take another four year run of greatness over what we have experienced in my lifetime.

same, and i hate knowing next year is a waste. It’s time we stop hiring “good men” and guys who will “win the press conference” and start hiring fricking football coaches

The only coaches I know that could come here and win for sure.

Bobby, Freeze, Lane and Urban.

Any other people would be a shot in the dark. Saban and Kirby too but they are where they are forever.

I don’t buy Sark, Dykes, Kansas Coach…

Matt Rhule and Aranda could be a boom or bust.

Garret Riley could be good for a next OC when Briles surely takes a new job after this year.

It was around this point in time last night that you probably realized how drunk you were.
