Most of these guys were the starters when Pittman took over in 2020. Most of these guys are 3 year starters (stromberg is a 4 year starter I believe.) yet we are getting dominated by true freshman dline man. How? Isn’t this supposed to be what Pittman hangs his hat on?

They did last week. This week they faced a really good front seven. It was Crawford's first start I believe and he was who got owned repeatedly by Perkins.

So common sense would say to use a rb or te to help block.

The oc chose to use delay rb routes and empty back fields when the game was on the line.

For a no huddle tempo offense, they can't 2 minute for shite.

That's what I was saying. Chip him with a RB at least. Crawford was clearly overmatched.

To be fair it's the highest graded OL in power 5.

So it would be fair to say it's a scheme problem not fundamentals.

We run the same scheme as ole miss, they seem to have decent success on offense.

I haven't really watched OM today, obvious difference is QB and WR play.

The QB throws it up and WRs go get it. Here the QB throws to an open wr and we hope he catches.

That is the difference in offenses to me, I'm sure I'll see more next weekend.

we agree here. Which is why the scheme isn’t the problem it’s the coaching and development which is clearly lacking. Briles might be a good play caller and the scheme is sound, the problem is we don’t seem to get better week to week and we don’t seem to get better from one season from the next with returning talent. It seems like the development isn’t there with this coaching staff

Throw money at Enos and watch him turn Cade into an NFL backup.

I'm like half kidding.

Sad it that we are rebuilding on the offensive line next year.

Can’t play action if you can’t block.

If any of our QBs had turned our back to the other team today, there would have been a sack every time.
