With nothing to play for except pride, why risk injury playing rest of season? I believe Bama loses to OM and Young and company skip bowl games. What are your thoughts?

There will definitely be opt outs. Which is one more thing that Saban really hasn’t had to deal with. It will only add to his disillusionment.

I think Saban will have them ready to beat the Rebs just to avoid Kiffin’s trolling.

I don't claim to know him personally or anything but Bryce Young doesn't strike me as the kinda guy to do that.

I hope they do if that is their attitude in general. Even if they didn't opt out, they aren't going to be preparing and pushing like they should.

Meanwhile, it will be doing the team a favor, let some of these younger guys come in and build on next year. I think they give players 4 games they can play in and still redshirt. Let's put the players who want to play out there.

That's how I feel about it anyway. If anyone wants to opt out, next man up.

How are NIL deals affected if a guy decides to sit out? Anyone know?

I was hoping this would be the silver lining of NIL, which is that in the contracts, the players couldn't opt out or quit playing if they were healthy. If they did, they'd have to pay back a portion, get fined, or lose what's left on the contract.

I mean, it's what pros have to do.

The packing started in August, Saturday night them bags were all zipped up.

Seriously though other than Bryce, Gibbs, Will and maybe B Branch I don’t think any can afford to sit, they need these last remaining games to try to get something good on tape from this year. Guys like Battle, Ricks, Henry T, J Cohen have lost a lot of money over these last few months.
