Serious Question, when is the last time your fans rush the field after a W?

Not trolling... With Alabama having two fanbases do it to them this year, when is the last time your fanbase did it? When was the last time Bama fans did?
For Georgia I think it was 2001 when UGA finally beat UTjr after losing 9 straight games.

The last time it happened at a game I was at for us was when we Croomed Florida almost 20 years ago.
I know after that they installed the goalpost that could be easily lowered. There have been some games since where some people came on the field but not a “rush.”
If by some miracle we were to somehow beat UGA it would happen… but that’s not going to happen lol.

I would guess the 80’s for us. I know we did it in Jax once in ‘84, I think.

I don't recall Bama fans ever rushing the field. Maybe the '85 IB after Van Tiffin kicked a 50+ yrd field goal on the last play to beat Auburn? Bama expects to win every game and as the SEC bell cow since 2009 who has owned every conference foe, it's a much bigger deal for teams to take down Bama.

I’m sorry your school is amongst the SEC poors and can’t afford the fine.

I know a lot of Bama fans say we never do rush the field but if you watch the end of the 1979 Sugar Bowl against Penn State, there were a lot of fans on the field.
I'm sure we've done a little of that afterwards as well. I seem to remember some fans trying it after the 1985 Iron Bowl but the cops weren't having any of it and put a stop to it.

I do not remember Vanderbilt storming the field. Seems like ruffian behavior so they would casually stroll for the post game canapé and cocktails social hour before dinner at the club.

It happened twice in 1998. Ended a 20-something game conference losing streak against South Carolina. Only problem was, they were sharing the stadium with the Titans that year and they had a home game at noon the next day (this was a night game). They were not letting the goal posts come down. I was down on the field and there was pepper spray and cops swinging batons like baseball bats to keep people away. It was hilarious as the students ran from one end to the other and back only to be turned away. The university felt so bad that when they beat Duke the next week, they begged the students to tear down the goalposts (they eventually did, also funny but in a different way).

At this point, I say we just make it an LSU thing. Let's rush the field when we beat UAB.

When opposing fans rush the field, that means your program is viewed as a dynasty.
It's kind of an honor.
