Sam's not going anywhere

The "class of 2020" had it's December signing period 8 days after Sam was hired, as he tried to throw anything together after inheriting the mess from the idiot hired by the egomaniac destroyer of the Dallas Cowboys
10 guys left off that class, most are washouts
So mostly besides the transfer portal guys, we are basically still a junior varsity
Throw in also that a collection of whiny BOT/boosters torpedoed Kiffin out of jealousy and egoism, so Sam is who we got and Hunter is going to be loyal to him
This year is part of a process

This year was not supposed to be part of any rebuilding process. We have a veteran QB, one of the best backs in college football, and a veteran offensive line. Our only weakness this year was supposed to be at WR with Burks being gone.
Our offense has been arse, defense has been arse(injuries have made it worse) and special teams have been arse.
We get KJ banged up, and start Fortin when Stevie Wonder could see that Hornsby is superior in every way. We start and stick with Fletcher for a punter when punt after punt is less than 30 yards. We have KJ so banged up he can’t practice all week, but trot him out to start anyway. When it it painfully obvious he can’t play, we trot him out to play the second half of the game too.
There is some bad shite going on in our program right now, and it isn’t a part of any process.

Almost all of our veteran starters are transfers, besides two walkons. That's a testament to Sam and his staff
Other than that we are a junior varsity depth wise, thanks to the Dallas Cowboys destroyer and Goober Pyle
Get the hell out with this bullshite "something is wrong behind the scenes" Hogville shite
"Play the backup quarterback!", the most historic fan whiner shite in the game's history
You have zero clue what KJs physical health is, Hogville boy
Yall keep throwing your temper tantrums, Hunter is not listening

No excuse why this team couldn't beat Liberty at home, if we have to make excuses for this loss then this program doesn't have what it takes to compete in this conference.
Going from a top 25 team to probably missing out on a bowl in his third year will cause fans to lose confidence.
We have been watching some bad football this year and the coaching isn't helping the problem.

It's amazing how quickly our expectations went from "we just want a winning season and bowl game" to "frick him if he doesn't do everything perfectly".
Offensively we have plenty of talent and shouldn't have games like this, SMS and A&M. We need to be less streaky.
Defensively we hope Sanders or the Dline gets home otherwise we aren't shite. Most of our good players are hurt. We should have more good players on D than we do.
We are what we are. The breaks that went our way last year aren't going our way this year. Still will probably make a bowl game. Sam isn't going anywhere. If we lose out and have a losing season next year he would probably step down but that isn't very likely.

You’re quick with the insults when someone disagrees with you, HRV. I’m guessing you can back up your reply to me with a 5-7/6-6 type prediction for this season somewhere, right?

quote:no, the guy entire offensive line are not transfers and most have been starting 3 years now. So this statement you made here is wrong harry. But I’ll wait for you to crawfish out of it as usual and hurl insults as usual

Yes, we are a little short handed talent and depth wise as far as the SEC is concerned, but talent wasn't the issue yesterday, it was coaching. We have enough talent to beat Liberty comfortably.
The team looked unprepared, unmotivated, no offensive adjustments appeared to be made, particularly in blocking, KJ showed he was not going to be very effective early on - unless there was something we don't know about, Malik should have been given some snaps to see if he could give us a spark. Secondary looked lost half the time. That's all on coaching. I could feel better if it was Georgia we lost to, but there is NO valid excuse to lose to Liberty if you are an SEC team.

Sam can't handle the stress of a head coaching job. Even winning some games year, he looked like shite. His inexperience is showing this season.
If they miss a bowl then don't be surprised he retires.

This. Sam has been outcoached by every better coach he’s faced. It’s now a fact minus maybe an outlier or two when we were very lucky last year.

The super seniors and Burks masked how bad this coaching staff was last season.
Without that, this was a 5-6 win team last year.

I thought we were past this? But I guess it is the same shite but a different year.

Arkansas got way with the state win and barely beat LSU that had the lead most of the game. Beat a severely depleted Penn State team.
This year is proving last year was a fluke. Had Sam not had that shitty loss yesterday then this year could have proven that wrong.

Hornsby should have played. Plain and simple

Sam's fricking gone in 2023 before his $3.3 million retention bonus is due on december 31st.
His contract is written to get rid of him after 4 or 5 years.

I have said he won’t be a long term guy, but he would bring stability in recruiting and set it up for the next guy.
But with NIL and transfer I don’t believe it matters.

"hurl insults"
calling some of you as bad as Hogville? I guess that is an insult, and I stand by it
Across the offense and defense, our upper classmen transfers and walkons are starters in the secondary, linebacker, DL, WR, Luke Jones on OL - total of 8 our of 22, and much of our 2nd team rotation Ga Tech, FSU, Penn State, another from LSU, Arkansas State
no need to crawfish
