"I won't be surprised if Tennessee scores 50," one coach said. "Georgia's front is average. Their back end is below average. They really miss William Poole [who left the team early in September]. I don't think their corners are special. The [Kelee] Ringo kid, he doesn't run nearly as well as you'd expect. The others are just OK. They're going to run right by those corners." LINK

Probably not wrong on the front issue, as things stand currently, and on Ringo, but our back end is not missing William Poole lol

sounds like jimbo to me. Very few people in the league would actually speak that way for starters. The biggest tipoff to me is the william poole comment. The only noteworth plays poole has made in his entire collegiate career wwere agianst bama in the title game. IT damn sure isn't saban that said all that. i remember taht watchalong broadcast where Texas A&M coaches watched the broke down the title game in real time and you could see that jimbo was absolutely deflated that we won. Not sure why he has such a hateboner for us/kirby but he clearly does. I'd bet anythign that if an actual SEC head coach really said those things, it was jimbo.

Very good assessment. I think you are right. Could also be Pittman but for different reasons.

He’s got no skin in the game but I’d be willing to bet he wants us to win. He knows this will fire up the team. How many coaches would actually know William Poole’s name?
