Makes too much sense. Who's a random Mac teams head coach?

Auburn is a third rate school in their own state. Every football player wants to play for the prestigious alabama football team and the goat coach nick saban, not some cheap clemson knockoff.

But keep crying, Auburn...

It will depend on if Liberty beat Arkansas, then Freeze is the one to look out for at a top 5 location. This year if Alabama loses 2 more games Alabama might want to get him first before Auburn get him.

I believe Freeze will be on most top teams list if his team beat Arkansas this Saturday.

According to the Auburn Board it’s Coach Prime or bust. I just don’t get it. We are gonna be ATM part two.

I’m convinced this push was started by a rival fan pretending to be an Auburn fan. There is no other logical explanation.

No a Jimbo reference, they think we just need to sign a bunch of 5 stars and it will fix everything. How’s that working for you guys

How would we know how it works? They are all freshmen, ask in 2 years if they develop

We’ve never in our history had this much talent until last year and that class is too young lol do you follow recruiting?

He’s a really good fricking coach. I don’t want to see it happen. Wish they would have to settle for someone.

Rhule is obviously the guy you hire if he’ll take it

Lane is fun and I get the appeal but he’s still very immature and it comes through in how his teams play at times.

If Matt Rhule is not going to simply get the check of the dude that makes Seven Million Dollars in the SEC ?

This should be Game of Thrones type of shite. Matt Rhule can make seven million, right now, by bumping off Mark Stoops.

Just go show some plays that throw the ball more than six yards past the line of scrimmage. Shouldn't be all that hard.

Rhule has never coached in that kind of environment. Why would he subject himself to those boosters?

I like Rhule but can he be the tireless psychopath on the recruiting trail that Auburn needs?

Wasn't there one when Harsin got hired?

Matt Rhule is a yankee that was born in New York, graduated from Penn State and the closest he’s ever coached to SEC country is in Waco, Texas.

No thanks.

Auburn already missed one someone from “out of town” and I don’t think they’ll take a risk on another one.

Sure, he helped rebuild Temple and Baylor, but he also struggled mightily against any ranked teams. He only won 2 games against ranked teams in all seasons at Temple and Baylor. Meaning, he lost a lot those games. And none of the ranked games he won were at Baylor, FYI.
