They aren’t firing Jimbo strait up.

He will most likely be accused of misconduct or mistreatment of a player or some recruiting violation so they can tie that contract up in court and settle for half or so.

Even if they can't get him to settle they could probably hold it up in court for 2-6years saving up money for the full amount, then appeal the decision for another year or 2 and finally pay him off 5-8 years after. All the while paying for a new coach.
