"I don’t know how many of you have been in a situation like that. I talked to him. He was scared, I was scared, some of our other players were scared," Saban said. "I think you learn to respect other people because we have a responsibility to do that, regardless of the circumstance we’re in.
Fox News posted Saban’s response
TTT- Saban sacred? That’s B.S. Saban could have been more forceful with his players so that this won’t get repeated and maybe escalate at another Bama away game. Instead he chose to be a c#nt!

This is the kind of stuff former players like Marquis Maze and others were talking about.
Do you think you would have EVER heard any of the early 10s Bama players would talk about having anxiety or being scared?

That worhless SOB and his thugs better be scared the next time.
The fans won't be looking to tear goalposts apart.

Yeah, Burton looked terrified

Give me a fricking break, I'm quickly losing all respect for Saban.

At least Grandma Saban didn't trip over a wire this time like he did after the A&M loss

It’ll be another 15 years or whatever til y’all beat ‘Bama again, and Saban will be long gone.
Once grandpa Hooker leaves, y’all are going back to irrelevant.

Well that’s just it. It’s made up. Burton wasn’t scared. He’s casually walking off the field. It’s the dumbest shite Saban has ever said and he said it to cover for Burton after he chose to act like a child.

When did he comment on it? I must have missed it.

Did you hear a banjo?

Now you see why Burton feels like what he did is “ok” and “justified”. His leader is an irresponsible little bitch too.

Scared enough to hit a girl?
Ok..
Ok..

It's not just Burton, Will Anderson talked about "having anxiety for a big road game" in the postgame after the Tennessee loss.
I've always hated Bama but couldn't help but have begrudging respect for them and their run under Saban. My jaw dropped a bit when I heard that because I would have never thought I'd hear something like that from a Saban coached team/player. Bama teams of old would never be scared to face anyone in any venue, or if they did they'd never willingly admit something like that
ETA: I guess I misinterpreted it, I guess they're talking about the incident with the fan? I read it as about the game itself. So I guess disregard my comment pertaining to this

Tennessee fans are barbarians....no telling what could have happened.......bigger trash than LSU fans and that is saying something

Nick Saban is a humble man, a man who loves God and respects people. You don’t hear other coaches admit their fears. I love beating Bama because they are the cream of the crop, but Saban is the GOAT and you gotta respect that.

Some of you need to seek help. I don't mean you need a psychologist. I mean a psychiatrist, because some of y'all are going to need drugs.
