I've been more or less away since Saturday. Partly due to depression, mostly because of being busy as hell with work and getting ready for a vacation.
But I'm now relaxing in Medellin, Colombia until next Sunday. I'm drinking a $1 espresso in a small that roasts their own beans in house. And so far, I haven't gotten shanked. But the night is still young, and it turns out, my Spanish really fricking sucks. But luckily, that didn't keep me from finding some really nicely grown gelato.
But we better win this fricking game. Too many streaks have been ending. I've also recently had to cover a project in southern Mississippi, and damn near all of them are Miss St fans. And I'm sure someone knows this, but when was the last time we lost 2 in a row?
I feel good about winning. But we haven't really given anyone a proper cornholing yet. So my overall season confidence is pretty damn low at the moment. But I've been surprised before. I just hope the Drunk Pirate doesn't throw through our secondary like shite through a tinhorn.
