I could stomach this loss if we shot the ball well, didn’t turn the ball over, played our best. We did none of those things. It was a terrible, awful showing by the most talented Alabama team ever and they pissed it all away against San Diego Fricking State. I hate basketball.

The program isn’t cursed. It simply isn’t good enough.
This wasn’t a fluky loss, and historically the program can’t blame fluky losses for not being good enough.
Look at the state of Coleman and tell me with a straight face this is a program that should be making deep tournament runs.

Needed to cash this season in for a Final Four. It was right there...just can’t believe it.

Oats needs to develop some hard-nosed seasoned players. Every year we have basket cases who just disappear in big situations. We need guys who are 22/23 years old, know basketball and are big when the stuff's on the line. I had a feeling all year that this team while talented did not have the make up to win it all. Your back court can't disappear at the end of the season and show no ability to hit big shots when you need them.

Chuck was hurt. Thats why he did not play.

Y’all gotta chill. This is why I’m glad we’re a football power and not a basketball “power”. A 64 team single elimination tournament is a retarded way to figure out the best team in a sport with so much variance. Maybe we break through one day, maybe we don’t. But we’re the best team in the SEC yet again and the Rant can cope with that however they want. I can’t believe we lost this fricking game and I’m pissed off too. But also frick CBB and the tourney set-up. It’s great as a whole and terrible as an actual fan of a team.
ETA: I’ll take being the best team in the SEC 2 out of 3 years. The NCAAT is too much of a crapshoot. One day we will break through with Oats and we can all laugh at the Rant together.
