We knew going into the tourney the guard play was going to have to be better. It was awful tonight. Q was awful. Griffen was awful. Bradley and Burnett were no shows/not many minutes. I actually thought Sears was decent. But if Miller is going to go
3-19, and let’s call it he was horrendous, other guys have to step up and they didn’t

The team that lost last time to UCLA doesn't bother me too much because although they were a low seed you could tell UCLA was a really good team who had really good players. SDSU? Hell nah. Got a bunch of rugby players who won't sniff a professional league

All SDSU did was take those and beat us. Im not advocating for it either. It's just kinda hilarious
That's exactly right. Teams that don't play our offense are going to the elite 8.

Still a great season. Oats is an amazing coach. Eventually we will break through…..right?
I don’t know if we will break through. I like Oats but his philosophy has to change. A D that can challenge the 3 with a rim protector will always give us problems. We ignore the middle of the court and so does the team defending us. At least make them defend the whole floor.
I’m tired of watching guards drive on a 6’11 guy and thinking they can take him.

Yeah, there are a lot of posers in here lately and they are way more obvious than they think they are.

The Miller replacement will be big too. Our defense saved us a lot this year when we didn’t shoot well.

I'm pretty confident Uconn wins the whole thing. They're the most complete team. They run actual offense so if they're not hitting shots they can still function

The only issue is that they kind of were validated tonight. This program always finds a way to shite all over itself before reaching its full potential.

It’s funny watching you pussy “OG” basketball fans talk about this. Want to know how you get your thread back? By Alabama sucking at basketball. So choose carefully

I would not be totally shocked to see Miller say "Nah" to the League and come back in order to prove something. He is that kind of kid.

Two sweet 16's in a row where we have gotten cooked by teams hitting midrange two's. How do we learn to defend these in practice if we never shoot them? Not a critique, just curious.

Let me rephrase. I am not counting on it, but I would not put it out of the question either.

Guard improvement will be the biggest question mark going into next season.
Who replaces Q,will Bradley make major changes in his O

Our guards are just too soft at the rim for this offense to work. They do not force bad contact by the defenders to garner FTs. .
Let me clarify my comment here: Our guards are too soft for this offense to work in the advance stages of the postseason. You've got to have tougher guards to run this offense and we've simply not had those kind of dogs. If we're not going to shoot mid-range pull-up jumpers to keep defenders honest, we damn sure need a guard that is wearing knee pads and elbow pads out there because he's going to spend half the game falling awkwardly on the court drawing physical contact at the rim.

Funny how you don’t address the topic. Because you know I’m right
