I missed the UNC game and have been away from the board and this thread for a couple of days. Catching up, I am wondering if there are any updates regarding:
- Oates getting fired by the fan base and who is taking over?
- Did Brandon Miller announce he’d forego his NBA lottery status and return next year?
- has JQ realized he’s not in peak condition yet after playing in his fourth game since major surgery? Wondering if he suggested to CNO less minutes until he gets in the groove.
- where is Gurley transferring to for the remainder of his senior season?

What is the nature of Clowney's injury?

Gurley came up massive in that UNC game
Hoping that is some sarcasm because well played if so

Has anyone heard where Miles was on Sunday? I never saw him on the bench.

UConn 22-1 is very very enticing

My sarcasm meter is in the shop for upgrades. I’ll put a rush request in if the shatty posting continues from some

I think I'll be watching UVA-Michigan tonight along with the Playoff Rankings show
I don't think 'Cuse-Kentucky is a good matchup as it was a few years ago

Kentucky/Bellarmine tied at the half.
Kentucky is too talented for that.

I think Cal retires soon-ish unless this team really turns it around and makes a deep tournament run. Another down season or early tournament exit and the hill folk will be out for blood. They can't fire him with his contract, but they can make life pretty miserable for him.

This is Coach Oats on the McElroy & Cubelic show mentioned in an earlier post

there’s not too many things geared for little kid entertainment during basketball
Actually, there’s all sorts of side entertainment like dance cam and contests during breaks and throwing t shirts. Of course, I’m 70 yrs old and interested only in the game, so maybe I’m alone thinking all that’s for kids.

In my mind, I’m comparing it to an event like gymnastics where they’re constantly throwing things in the stands and having crowd interactions. At a basketball game this year, my toddler was entertained by watching Big Al walk around the baseline but they didn’t have what I’d consider much of anything else for little kids.

Marquette beating the brakes off of Baylor right now
Posted on 11/29/22 at 9:15 pm to TrojanTide
And State shut Marquette down. State is sneakily pretty good

I would say that so far us, Arkansas, and UTk are tier 1, Auburn and Kentucky tier 2, everyone but South Carolina in tier 3, and South Carolina in tier 5. Yeah I skipped tier 4 on purpose. That's how bad they are. State is at the top of tier 3 though.
