I hate to ask.... Has Saban gotten too soft?

I love Nick. He's the greatest ever. But everyone has a decline at some point.
Last season and into this season, we've battled periods of being very sloppy, not focused, undisciplined, unprepared, etc... People say teams take on personality of their coaches. This team isn't what we expect from Saban. Is he leaving too much up to the coordinators, is he not in control, or is he getting soft? It's just so confusing and frustrating to see.

frick yes he has. He’s become what he used to DESPISE. Do you not remember the introduction press conference. That Saban would slap the shite out of this one. For fricks sake Golding kept a job after a DUI. Complacency has become us.

Any coach that doesn't want to make the tough changes for the betterment of the program, by definition, has went soft. And a coach like that is then hurting the program. Should Saban leave? NO, but he better grow some balls and stop being PC. He doesn't seem hungry.

It looks like he is afraid of getting in their azz otherwise they may hit the portal. This a comedy of errors this year.

It's wild. It's like the completely forgot about last year.
Plus Going undefeated is almost impossible nowadays. And we just did it 3 years ago..how soon they quickly forget.

Still undefeated in the West. Win out to get to Atlanta and have an answer for Hyatt. I don't think UGA can score enough to beat this UT team. But UGA has some incredible running backs.
The refs were a huge factor in this game. They clearly wanted to pump up the East a bit because it's been so down.

I think so. When is the last time you’ve seen him really getting after a player or coach on the sideline? I think he feels like he has to be nicer with this generation of kids, but that mentality is reflecting in our lack of discipline.

No... I've felt this way after last year and definitely after Texas the year. The way we won and the way we lost. I'm not so shallow to base everything purely on wins and losses.
Go back and look at my posts... I've called a loss to TN since the Texas game.
