I don't think we were playing for the fg. Playing for the fg would have been run plays all the way, which is what we should have been doing.

I think we should have run to at least get the ball off the right hash, because will has been very bad from that side!.
I think if Gibbs catches that swing out of the back field he runs it to inside the 20 or 15 and its a chip shot with no time left.
What makes me mad is we did not go match up zone to stop the Isolation on the safety.I mean how can you let the same play beat you all day.

There were many things that contributed to this loss. It’s a miracle we stayed in the game and even had a chance at winning if you list all the bull shittery, tbh.

Yep eliminate stupid mistakes and that’s a win. An ugly win but a win. If Bamas offense scores 49 though there’s no excuse for losing. This was on the defense.
The difference between this Bama team is we have always had a WR or Defensive player step Up and make a game changing play. We don’t have that player aside from Bryce Young.

Game should been over when we intercepted the pass till the ref called a penalty 8 seconds afterwards and he saw we were gonna win.

I am 72 and this game tonight I place at the top of my list as the most F'ed up game I have ever seen. I am proud of the guys from coming back from what was one of the worse 1st half's of football I have seen.
To get back and still lose is terrible. There was a so many calls that went against us and so many that should have been called for us that no flag appeared. It almost looked planned.
Never plan on our FG kicker winning a game for us and you will not be disappointed.

The strategy was terrible. You HAVE to know you can't give TN the ball back in that position with ANY time left.
At the very fricking least throw a short pass so that we can take some time off of the clock.
On that last 3rd down we should've called a short pass - an easy completion or a draw play to Gibbs.
That way you get the kicker a 43 yarder instead of 50, and run the clock down, or give yourself a short yardage for the 4th down.
