The rumor is he's in a boot and has injured/broken ribs.

Time for the Weigman Era.

Quitting is in the culture. No surprises there.

It actually would be the best thing. No pressure, so he could just go out there and let it fly.

King toughed it out, much respect to him for finishing that game.

King was a warrior Saturday night. Guy certainly earned the respect of his teammates with the way he kept getting up and going right back into assured annihilation. Battled his arse off.

A QB playing through injuries and then getting necessary treatment is quitting?

Some of yall need to turn it off every once in while.

If max can’t play at lsu or a and m, I’m afraid the only other program shitty enough to utilize his services would be Auburn

Has to be that way. Only way the kid plays to be honest since Fisher is such a bitch

Jeez, we've knicked up alot of QBs this year.

Ewyers, King, Jefferson...

Didn't the Utah state starter basically leave cause it wasn't worth it?

The play where King hurt his leg looked to be one the refs blew dead for illegal motion and your defender hit King low regardless.

Real tough guys.

Fisher has his flaws but I guarantee you if the younger kid was his best chance at winning he would be playing already.

Losing 2 QBs in the same season is a tough break.

I don't think Jimbo wanted to throw the kid into the fire early. Now they've got a bye to work with him and their last 6 games are 4 home games (Ole Miss, Florida, UMass, LSU) and 2 manageable road games (Carolina/Auburn).

Seems like an ideal time to ease him in.

But he looked tough Saturday. He grew up a lot in that game.

He took a MASSIVE hit during that final drive. The kid showed grit and guts that isn't too often seen. Respect to him.

Rag on the kid all you want, but he showed a ton of chest on Saturday. Really impressive, unlike his start to the season.
